Bird Rescue in Atlantic Basin

An injured seagull was spotted off the starboard side of the Mary A. Whalen on May 24, 2026.

Harriet Zucker of @RedHookDogRescue has taken the seagull to the Wild Bird Fund.


Just a few days laters a duckling was spotted floating near the port of the NYC Ferry.
