An intimate, quiet restaurant named for the chef/owner Kevin Moore. It is a family establishment with brother Gene assisting in the kitchen and wife/artist Caroline Parker out front.
Food tends toward seafood; and that seafood includes European classics (cioppino, paella, papardelle with shrimp) not just New England ones. A brunch winner is the Eggs Chesepeake that puts a crab cake and hallah toast where the english muffin and ham would be in Eggs Benedict.
The Moores cater under the name Moore Parties and also have a summer oupost on Governor's Island, Little Eva's, named after their daughter Eva.
They attended PortSide's 2007 TankerOpera which clinched their love of Red Hook and made them decide to open a restaurant here.
