IKEA fishing pier, Erie Basin Park

The posted fishing regulations on the pier state: The Department of Environmental Protection Agency states a LIMIT of 4 Blackfish (Tautoga Onitis) 16 inches or longer to be removed from the Basin per day per person.
All Blackfish under 16 inches long must be returned to the Erie Basin Waters.

The fishing pier is part of Erie Basin Park, a nearly mile-long stretch of public accessible waterfront, paid for by Ikea as part of the deal when they took over the space that was once Todd's Shipyard. Designed by Lee Weintraub Landscape Architecture, the park memorializes the space that it replaced.
