The Red Hook Coffee Shop is a new imagining, with new owners, of a long-time Red Hook institution. If you remember the steamtable diner run by Tony Piraquive called the Red Hook Coffee Shop, don’t be confused by the façade. He retired in 2020, see our interview here, and the place was gutted, access to a small backyard added, and a hip, new business opened using the same name and facade, described on their Instagram as a "Vintage Store Curated selection of vintage pieces, clothes - furniture - design." It's got regulars hanging out with a whiff of remote worker cafe.
