Adam R. W. and Co., lumber dealers, 1860s

Lumber was one of the major commodities shipped to the Atlantic Docks. In the 1860s Adam R. W. and Co. operated from the Docks and sold long lumber for shipping, building and other businesses, according to the 1867 New York State Business Directory and Gazetteer.
